Indication

BIBACTIN® Tablet is used for treatment of infections caused by sensitive micro-organisms: genitourinary tract infections, upper and lower respiratory tract infections, otitis, sinusitis, gastrointestinal tract infections, typhoid fever, Pneumocystis carinii pneumonitis.

Direction

BIBACTIN® FORT tablet of 960 mg: Adult:1 tablet, twice per day with a 12-hour interval. In case of severe infections: 1½ tablets, twice per day.

Special cases: acute uncomplicated urinary tract infections Pneumocystis carinii pneumonitis renal impairment: the dose is as directed by your doctor’s prescription.

Side effects

The most common observed: gastrointestinal disturbances (nausea, vomiting) and skin reactions (skin rash, urticaria).
