Indication

CALTOUX® Syrup is used for Symptomatic relief of dry cough.

Direction

Child from 30 months to 6 years old: 2.5 ml every 4 hours if needed. Do not exceed 15 ml per day.

Child from 6 to 10 years old: 5 ml every 4 hours if needed. Do not exceed 20 ml per day.

Child from 10 to 12 years old: 5 ml every 4 hours if needed. Do not exceed 30 ml per day.

Child from 12 to 15 years old: 10 ml every 4 hours if needed. Do not exceed 40 ml per day.

Side effects

Constipation, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, skin allergy.

Pregnancy: This drug can be prescribed during the pregnancy for a prompt use only if necessary.

Breast-feeding: Contraindicated.
